Neighbourhood Plan August 2023 Update

We now have a chance to save this land for the benefit of the community either as a new Primary School or Public Open Space

Elmswell Parish Council are proposing to Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils that they amend the settlement boundary within the neighbourhood plan to now EXCLUDE an area of open land between Church Road and Pightle Close.

This is an extremely popular open space and we now have a chance to save it!

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to you in regards to the email sent on Friday 4th August in reference to ‘Elmswell NP Focused Consultation’ and the Elmswell Neighbourhood Plan.

Please take this as my full support of the Elmswell Parish Council to amend the settlement boundary to now exclude the area of open land north of Church Road (also referenced as the land previously identified as site LA064 in the emerging Babergh & Mid Suffolk Joint Local Plan (Nov.2020)).

To clarify I am in full support of amending the settlement boundary to EXCLUDE this piece of land.
